Expecting a Baby in Pandemic Times !!

New Year's Eve!
As the clock struck midnight on New Year’s Eve, we hugged to wish each other a happy new year and danced the night away. When 2020 began, it was like just another calendar year, little did we know that only two months later, the coronavirus pandemic would sweep the planet and effectively stop the way in which the world operated for so long. The unpredictability, gravity of solitude, fear of another human being, and the struggle to have our plans, hopes and dreams put on hold.

Always masking up!
At some level we all have been affected by the Covid situation and this is my story. The onset of lockdown was a boon for us as we conceived our little bundle of joy in March 2020. It is said pregnancy is the most special time of a woman’s life and my whole experience that ran parallel to Corona environment was like a beautiful rose (obviously with few thorns).

In the first trimester going out for medical examinations by doctor in PPE kit sitting 100 metres away wasn’t really comforting but courtesy Corona, getting to have my husband around 24 by 7 was sheer bliss.

Delighted at the farm!
During the second trimester, I like all other expecting women too wished to go out for street snacking or fancy dinners, watch movies in the theatre; however that couldn’t happen….. So what did we do instead! We took frequent getaways to our farmhouse, soaked the winter sunshine in morning walks, binge-watched numerous series tucked in bed and pampered ourselves to the core.

What to crave for?

My lawyer husband Ankit being the amazing in-house chef delighted me and our baby with multi-course fancy meals (sometimes with full mahaul !). People often ask me what food did I crave for? Honestly, thanks to my loving family I didn't long for anything as all sort of dishes were either cooked at home or sent over with love from family/friends even before I could yearn for it.

As much I wished to flaunt my maternity clothing on our babymoon vacation, we ended up staying-home, staying-safe and hence saving quite some money which now for good goes to our baby fund.

Since a child is en-route my sasural after 35 years, a lot was thought of as soon as we got the good news! My mother-in-law had a two-day traditional god bharai in mind which due to corona increase had to be altered and later even cancelled. Then new plans of a fun baby shower were made, guest list was made, preparation was done and when we were good to go corona happened in the immediate family and then entire thing had to be scrapped.

Loved all of this!

However I truly believe that "Jo hota hai ache ke liye hota hai!" Instead of one big ceremony, I was blown away by so many surprise showers... everything was so informal, heartfelt and indeed made me felt so dearly loved. Every tiny thing was celebrated, be it janmashtmi, father’s day, mother’s day and monthly birthdays of our unborn child (nicknamed neebu).

As you might know me by now, I am a person who always pre-plans. From Day 1, I had started to save maternity photo ideas and intended to get the professional photoshoot done with flowy gowns flaunting my baby bump. However one thing that Corona has taught me is that things may not always go by the plan and it is only better to find the next best alternative. So whenever I got dressed a little, I took it as an opportunity to get clicked on random days throughout the journey and truly loved the whole candid experience. Trust me, it is an absolute delight to look back and have so many memories instead of one big one!

As we ventured in the final month and started to prepare for the little one's arrival, I was pretty excited to shop for my baby. However given the Corona scare, I bought some stuff online and surprised myself with what the super excited daadi-to-be and bua-to-be shopped for the little munchkin. It was truly quite overwhelming to hold and feel the tiniest clothes of my super awaited baby.

Pandemic times in 2020 has given me a much wider perspective and taught me that -

· Sometimes all you need to be happy is you and your family

. Life is unpredictable and things might not always go by the plan A. So learn to prioritize and re-prioritize

· Never take things/people for granted; be grateful for little things and savour smallest of experiences in life

· Every problem brings along an opportunity; we just need to look for it

· While “Health is Wealth”, financial planning is also a must

With the essentials
during Covid
Expecting a baby in pandemic times may have stressed me out a little and made me miss on my babymoon, photoshoots, liberty of throwing tantrums, shopping for myself and the baby and a big baby shower but at the same time has given me so much more.....I am so deeply grateful to both my families who despite this tensed macro environment made this experience so amazing for me; the surprises, gifts, unconditional pampering, undivided attention, anything and everything I could have asked for!

I am truly overwhelmed with so much love....With tons of excitement and a tinge of nervousness, can’t wait to see our little wonder.

Fingers crossed!!

Pregnancy : A celebration of Life !!

I am expecting my first child and I must admit that the feeling of creating, bearing and nurturing a life inside me is truly magical!

Pregnancy is a celebration!!
From conceiving a baby to delivery, pregnancy is a roller coaster ride which creates infinite memories to be forever cherished. Right from pregnancy announcement, maternity photo-shoots, baby shower, unconditional pampering and care, each month celebrations to prepping up and shopping for the awaited child, pregnancy is a fusion of experiences. Touchwood, I have truly loved these eight months to the core and am pretty excited for the final countdown. As much as I would love to share all the moments of happiness with you, this post is more about my experience and is intended to help the expecting ladies to make the most of their pregnancy.

To enjoy the privilege of child birthing, a woman’s body goes through lot of changes. Here are few of my experiences and how to deal with the same -

  • Mood swings: I was pampered to the core and repeatedly reminded to just be happy, but sometimes I would feel miserable and cry over nothing | What to do? - Seek emotional support from family & friends and conveniently blame it on the pregnancy hormones. Watch videos and read books that make you happy from within as your state of mind reflects on your baby
  • Body changes : Starting my third trimester, I experienced swelling all over my body - my eyes shrunk behind my full cheeks, my rings and bangles didn't fit anymore, my shoe size increased by 2 notches and my hands even started to shiver due to swelling. Recurring backaches, constant fatigue and darkening skin made me a little conscious as I saw pictures of other glowing pregnant women | What to do? – Reduce your salt intake to reduce the swelling and believe that these temporary tiny changes in your body to create a full-fledged human being are totally insignificant
  • Will I be good enough as
    my mothers??
Anxiety - Even at the age of 33 years, I felt skeptical of taking up the responsibility of a delicate being. My mind was constantly flooded with questions as to will I be able to live up to the selfless and providing mother benchmark | What to do? – Stay assured that these concerns are completely natural for the first time mommies, talk it out with other moms and you will know that you would also learn and evolve with the baby.

On and off nine months of the behavioral and physical changes, the fear and dilemma, and other symptoms like breathlessness, fatigue, morning sickness, vomits, acidity, etc. may seem scary but believe me; all this is subjective and temporary. Moreover, the ultimate joy of seeing your little baby in the ultrasound scans and feeling the baby's movements and kicks (which usually start by 7th month) will make everything just worth it.

Every pregnancy is different, but some DOs and DONTs always standby-

  • Download apps like “Babycenter” and “Pregnancy” to know weekly facts about the foetus and find answers to your questions and apprehensions
  • We are loving this Surprise!
Don’t create expectations on the gender of your child as there is no precise way to tell the gender of the baby except by way of medical examination. Observations about heart beat rate, belly size, etc. are all myths
  • Make a connection with your baby by talking to the little one... Sing children songs, rub your hand on the belly, watch movies that make you smile and laugh.... At first it might seem weird but believe me, the feeling when he/she responds will be inexplicable!!
  • Find your right balance - Walk and exercise on one hand so that your body and the baby stay healthy but also take adequate rest as overexertion in pregnancy is a big No-no
  • Pamper Yourself!!
Soak in and enjoy all the care, indulge in self-love, take care of your hair, skin and overall body as it deserves so for bearing a child
  • Normal / Caesarean delivery - C-section at first may seem simpler but normal delivery is definitely healthier for both the mom and the baby, hence research on the same and do pregnancy yoga if not explicitly prohibited by your doctor
  • Spend quality time with your partner because once the baby comes along, he/she will deserve and demand your undivided attention
  • Let go off the unimportant things and understand that you are the only source of all the baby emotions, so say Bye-Bye to anxiety and Hi to happiness!!
  • Don’t compare your pregnancy with other people’s pregnancies...Every pregnant woman experiences different sets of joys and challenges, so don’t go by the rule book (there isn’t any) and do what your body tells you!!
  • Love for food!
Eat Right - Eat regularly and eat healthy, observe what suits your body, understand that you are the only source of baby’s food and you would not want to deprive him/her of the nutrition. Every now and then, you may surrender to your food cravings but ensure a check on your weight and pregnancy induced sugar, thyroid and blood pressure.
  • Instead of out-rightly refusing to listen to beliefs of elders, try to understand the science behind it….. our postures, chanting prayers, sleep patterns, etc. all play a big role in our as well as the baby’s body in the long run
  • Finish your due big projects as the soon to-be-born baby will be your exclusive project at least for a while
  • Don’t overthink but do share all your symptoms/concerns with your doctor. Follow your primary gynaecologist but also simultaneously consult for a second opinion
  • Take regular supplements!
Stay sincere on your calcium, iron and vitamin supplements
  • In the last trimester, close on the hospital booking, decision about stem cell and jaapa maid. On the onset of 9th month, shop for all the essentials you will need post pregnancy and keep your hospital bag handy

Key Note - Millions may be born every day but your pregnancy is special!!! Capture it and relish it !! Cherish and Thank your partner!

The love of my life,
Father of my child!
We as women are celebrated and pampered throughout the nine months but the men don't get any more than Congratulations! In my experience, the husband is our invincible support in the entire pregnancy journey for he does the massage when our body aches, listens to us and pacifies our mood swings, fulfils our (un)reasonable demands, satiates our food cravings, accompanies us to the doctor and stays awake with us as we restlessly toss on the bed every night, practically does everything besides carrying the baby and he definitely deserves more.
The countdown begins!

Stepping into my 9th month of pregnancy I might soon indulge insanely with my little bundle of joy, so thought of sharing all my recently gained knowledge with you all....Will definitely share how to make these nine months special in my next post….. Do stay tuned! Stay Happy, Stay relaxed !!

2020.... So far, so goooood!!

Many people might want to forget 2020, but I definitely don't. At the age of 32 years, when I made myself believe that "abb zindagi mei kya hee naya hoga?", this year had so many firsts that I am honestly grateful for. (You'll soon know what I am talking about!)
The New Year kicked off pretty well with total dhamaal at back-to-back weddings. Although with the Corona scare in March, means of fun instantly turned around from chilling-out to staying-in playing housie on watsapp, making every possible delicacy at home, binge-watching netflix, incessant video calling and what not!!

From dressing-up in weddings

To masking-up in Covid
Follow "thoughts by shruti"
Hones
tly, lockdown was a boon bringing in me the long-due motivation to start my youtube channel ”thoughts by Shruti“ to voice my views and share my poetry. It indeed felt amazing to be approached to be the content writer for JITO magazine and later becoming the executive member of the prestigious JITO Jaipur ladies wing. As it happened, one thing led to another and I was fortunate enough to be featured with Stagetime and get 6000+ views and much accolade for my poem "Maa".
Ready for my 1st court visit
In my endeavour to constantly learn and experience, going to court as a law student, teaching French online or handling all digital platforms of "SMARTYs and Little Wonders India", I have tried to ke
ep my hands full and enjoyed it all.
Celebration all the way!!

House-parties with friends have always been fun but this year I happened to experience the same magic with family. From midnight celebrations and heartfelt birthday wishes to surprise visit from my fa
mily, an indeed happy anniversary that went on from sumptuous breakfast to the impromptu dinner party, I truly felt being unconditionally loved.
I have to shyly admit that husband and I failed to practice social distancing and shared the craziest, biggest and happiest news of our lives…. As you must have guessed it right…..
Yes, We were Pregnant!!

Breaking the news &
Celebrating every milestone!!
During pandemic, doctor visits and medical examinations were scary, evening walks were confined to house‘s drive-way, outing only meant going to mother’s house and all food cravings had to be satiated with home-cooked food, I felt a little sad on losing out on pregnancy fun. It was only later I realised that it was a blessing in disguise.

Surprises all the way!!
Getting to spend quality and quantity time with husband,
getting advice and comfort from mummy, getting pampered by the mother-in-law, sincere efforts by everyone to make me feel special and happy, I can go on and on. Touch-wood, there has been so much to rejoice: seeing our baby inside for the first time, listening to its pounding heartbeat, fun pregnancy announcements, innumerable cakes, heartfelt surprise congratulatory hampers from Shilpa di, friends and family, exciting impromptu photo-shoots, celebrating 1st mother’s day, father’s day and each single month of the approaching parenthood.

Life‘s good but it sure has to have the blues otherwise it would be too good to be true. During my pregnancy, I too had my share of gloomy days and sleepless nights dominated by headaches, fatigue, body pain and swollen feet when I felt more like a patient than a happy pregnant woman. The simultaneous feeling of anxiety that my life is going to change forever and the excitement that a life is growing inside me is just inexplicable.

As i write this, I feel extremely gratified for immense love and support from each member of both my families, all my friends and well wishers. I can't thank you enough for all the inspiration and motivation.

Looking forward to December 2020 when our bundle of happiness is expected to arrive!!

Fingers crossed!

Book Review - RASAATHI : The Other side of a TRANSGENDER, by Sasindran Kallinkeel

RASAATHI: The Other Side OF A Transgender
Publisher – ‘BookMitra’_Mark My Book LLP
MRP – 399/-

Written in autobiographical style RASAATHI is a heart-touching fictional novel that revolves around the life of every Transgender in Indian society.

With the empathic story of a transgender born in a well-to-do South Indian family, realization of being a transgender, being sold to Hijra community and taking prostitution as a source of livelihood, the book gives a deep insight into the challenging life of a transgender in the orthodox Indian society. It takes us onto parallel journeys of the customs & rituals of Transgenders community and transition to being a better human being.

The debut novel by the author Mr. Sasindran Kallinkeel is a mature piece of writing which does full justice to the canvas of the story. Having 23 years of stupendous service at the Central Reserve Police and a seven-year stint with the Special Protection Group (Prime Minister’s Security) as a Senior Security Officer, Mr. Sasindran has narrated the story with empathy and perfection.

Excerpt from the book: When the family first realizes that their boy is a Hijra,
“He was furious but my mother, hearing the words, slowly sat down with head in her hands, and wept and wept uttering 'oh my god......oh my god'. I don't understand what was happening and why papa and mom are angry and crying. I stayed there like a statue and thought what is Aravainchi - a new word I didn't heard before. I had no idea but was very sure, it might be a bad word by the way it was pronounced with anger and despair. Then again, I heard papa’s shouting;…”

At some places author has gone into deep details which may not seem very relevant but the rhythm and pace of the novel never fails. With not much literary work about Transgenders in India, Rasaathi is a must read for everyone who is keen to know and understand about the real lives of Transgenders in the orthodox Indian society.

Over all, it is a good read which can be comfortably rated 4 out of 5!

Vietnam......A Beautiful Experience!!

Captivating, mysterious and welcoming – Vietnam is all at once!

It is UNEXPLORED and provides ULTIMATE LUXURY ON A BUDGET!
Halong Bay....The natural wonder of the World!
With new experiences, incredible natural beauty, delectable local cuisine, warm people, and immense value for money, Vietnam’s tourism is luring travelers worldwide.

For us, it was three nights in Siem Reap, Cambodia followed by a week in Vietnam and yet, it was hectic!! Read below and set your itinerary as per your travel goals! Do keep an eye on the “DOs and DONTs” at the end!

Each part of 1000km long Vietnam offers something different and unique: Buzzing city life of Ho Chi Minh City, beautiful beaches of Nha Trang, fascinating culture in the port town of Hoi An, intriguing walk down history lane in Hanoi, enormous jaw-dropping caves in Halong Bay and exciting shopping fiesta! It is an unparalleled tropical experience packed with delightful attractions for all travellers.

Ho Chi Minh City (HCM- 3 nights)

Day 1 - This is Vietnam’s commercial centre offering ample sight-seeing, new experiences and innumerable party options!

Nguyen Walking street;
Notre Dame Cathedral
We started our evening at Nguyen Hue Walking Street. With Christmas round the corner, the beautifully lit and decorated town hall, statue of the president Ho Chi Minh, surrounding shops, restaurants and hotels, all seemed like a carnival.

We then visited the iconic “Notre Dame Cathedral” and “Saigon Post Office” influenced by Renaissance architecture. With people singing carols and the brilliant play of colorful lights, the atmosphere was indeed merry and festive.

Bui Vien Walking Street
Our next stop was Bui Vien walking street! It was lined up with bars, restaurants and massage parlours. With people selling snakes, squids and other unexpected things on their bicycles and tables set on the road, different music at every 50metres, with literally no place to walk, this was a crazy paradise for sea food lovers! For busy nightlife seekers, Pham Ngu Lao and De Tham Street, backpacker district of HCM with very similar vibe to Khao San Road in Bangkok is also a good place to be.

Day 2- Full day tour to Cu chi Tunnel and Mekong Delta
Lucky enough to have an excellent guide Ducn and wonderful company of a family from Sweden and two solo women travellers from Netherlands and Switzerland. (Yes, Vietnam is quite safe!!), the 2 hour drive (60kms) to the tunnel was quite interesting.

Cu Chi Tunnel
Our first stop, the incredible network of 220km long Cu Chi Tunnels built by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War was mind-boggling. We took the opportunity to shoot AK47 with real bullets, crawl through tiny tunnels and got an insight into how Vietnamese soldiers managed a life under-ground.

Mekong Delta
After a 2-hour drive, we reached our next destination - The gorgeous Mekong delta. As we boarded here the boat to Ben Tre, it felt like a welcome change from the energy of HCM city. It is amazing how simple and small experiences like tropical fruit tasting over live Vietnamese local music, sporting the Vietnamese hat, taking pictures with python and honey bees, travelling in a horse cart, doing a sampan ride in tiny waterways, can be so refreshingly enchanting.

After a long yet not-so-tiring journey of 2 hours, we concluded our night at the popular Chilli Sky Bar, a vibrant rooftop club and lounge bar.

Day 3– We went to see War Remnant Museum which has display of exhibits from Vietnam War. It is indeed intriguing and sorrowful how Vietnam fought for its Independence for 19 long years. It is like literally watching a country rebuild itself and you can’t resist giving your heart and soul to the country.
Rest of our day was dedicated to spending money on good food at “Benaras Indian restaurant”, shopping at Saigon Square and Ben Thanh market, relaxing massage at Cat Moc Spa and playing in a casino at Hotel New World Saigon. (Shopping in Hanoi is better and more reasonable!!)

If time permits, you may see the A O Show featuring live acrobatics and Vietnamese music at the historical Saigon Opera House, Vinh Trang Pagoda and Chinatown.

Nha Trang (2 nights)
View from the room
Day 4 - Nha Trang boasts its beauty with incredible blue beaches with the long, white sand banks that stretch gracefully along the city. With rich aquatic life, active night life, splendid beach resorts and entertaining recreational activities, Nha Trang has the perfect holiday vibe.
We stayed for two nights at Muong Thanh Luxury Hotel located right across Nha Trang Beach in the VIP suite having a fabulous ocean-view at an unbelievable price of Rs.7000!! With an agenda to relax, we strolled by the beach, pampered ourselves with a massage and satiated our hunger pangs at “Vandana Indian Restaurant”(It was all at walking distance!!)

Day 5- As suggested by a local Indian, we visited Po Nagar Cham Towers, a well-preserved Hindu temple that is truly a masterpiece representing Cham culture. Beautiful views, Champa dance performances every hour, religious significance and architectural beauty makes it crowded with tourists.

Just like that!

To pamper us more, we headed to Thap Ba Mud Bath. We spent here ~3 hours indulging in mud bath, mineral bath, hot swimming pool, Jacuzzi, etc. It was a fun and relaxing way of therapeutic cleansing of the body. One can choose from the multiple common/private packages.

Z Club!
There is no dearth of party places in Nha Trang, but we chose to walk to the best ones in our vicinity, Z Club and Hawana which were both pretty good.

Depending on one’s interests, there are plenty of other interesting and must-go-to places in Nha Trang -

* Interested in water activities? Opt for a boat tour from Nha Trang to visit four pristine islands of Nha Trang Bay and do snorkelling to see the colourful coral reefs at Hon Mun Marine Protected Area, visit to aquarium and a fish farm

* Travelling with kids? Take them to Vinpearl Land, also called “Disneyland Of Vietnam” to enjoy indoor and outdoor games, golf course, aquarium and a water park. To get there, take the Vinpearl Cable Car – the world’s longest oversea cable car

* Longing for more sightseeing? Located within 5 kms of Nha Trang city center, visit “Long Son Pagoda- the 24m high white Buddha statue”, take pretty pictures from the white spiral stair in Hoang Phu Residence and witness the sunset at iconic Hon Chong

Hanoi (2nights)

Day 6 - The capital city of Vietnam is like a mini Asian version of Paris. It is a city of contrasts with its pagodas and monasteries, karaoke bars and dance clubs.
At the Hanoi Lake Palace
(lake in the background)
We stayed at the luxurious Hanoi Lake Palace and Resort”. It was almost on the lake and even had a golf course. It was cold (unlike rest of Vietnam) and we had reached before the check-in time, so they offered us to use the steam, sauna, Jacuzzi services and believe me, it was sheer bliss.

Hoan Kiem Lake
Water Puppet Theatre
Great thing about Hanoi is that all the sightseeing is concentrated within 3kms of radius. One can book a half day city tour which typically include attractions from Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to see the preserved body of Ho Chi Minh, One Pillar Pagoda, Hoa Lo prison, Hoan Kiem Lake, Thang Long Water puppet show, Imperial Citadel of Thang Long - A UNESCO World Heritage Site concluding with free time at the Old quarter. One can also visit the Presidential Palace, the Temple of Literature, and watch Bamboo circus at Opera House.
On a time crunch, you can alternately take a 60-minute tour around the Old quarter starting from the Hoan Kiem Lake. Once the sightseeing is done, delve into shopping spree at the famous Night Market – a shopper’s paradise with amazing products at unbelievable prices.
It is difficult to leisurely enjoy all the attractions and shop in one day, so I would suggest 2 days in Hanoi in addition to Halong Bay. If craving for Indian food, eat your heart out at “Namaste Indian Restaurant”, it is a dreamland.

When you just can't stop clicking!
Day 7- This was dedicated for excursion of Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The day is systematically planned with first stop at the Pearl factory wherein one can witness pearl in-the-making and buy its beautiful jewellery. Then embark on the cruise at Tuan Chau Harbour, savour on-board Vietnamese traditional lunch and appreciate the extraordinary scenery of thousands of limestone islands and islets in Ha Long Bay. Soak in the real beauty of Ba Hang by kayaking or bamboo boat. Believe me, this storybook, ethereal paradise will pamper and captivate you in ways like no other.

The stunning caves!
Get mesmerised by Thien Hung Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay. It’s impossible not to fall in love from the get-go with this unique and magnificent museum of natural arts elaborately created by the magic hands of Mother Nature. Later make a stop at the legendary Dau Go Cave to relish the labyrinthine maze of stalactite and stalagmite structures inside this grotto.

VIETNAMESE FOOD – Slurp a bowl of Pho, the hot noodles, Vietnamese style! Whether you are a coffee person or not, you must try Vietnamese Coffee! They have so many versions of it, with egg, condensed milk and what not!
Vietnamese love their food and practically eat everything under the roof and beneath the sea; crocodiles, snakes, and a lot more!! You can relish Vietnamese flavour in vegetarian and vegan dishes too at Liu Riu.

We had to return to Jaipur after these three beautiful cities, but if you are in for more, here are the places you can add -
o   Danang – Visit Marble Mountains, Son Tra Peninsula, and Thuan Phuoc Bridge

o   Hoi An – Overnight journey from Danang, is Hoi An - Wander around the local market, Japanese Bridge, Tan Ky Old House and Fu Jian Assembly Hall. Take part in a cooking class, get tailor-made clothes, roam the markets, explore the countryside and bike through the rice fields

Take a day trip from Hoi An to explore My Son sanctuary. Similar to Angkor Wat in Cambodia, My Son features many Hindu temples and is designated as a UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site.

o   Phu Quoc – With mostly unexplored, clean and uninhabited beaches and grand luxurious resorts, it is just the perfect getaway for honeymooners!

Don’t just listen to what I say, go see!! Vietnam is the place to be!!

Cambodia
Cambodia is a charming union of experiences and emotions; right from the ancient ruins of the Angkor Wat complex and riveting stone architecture to the affable locals, plush hotels and a rapidly advancing modern lifestyle. Read more about it in the next post.

DOs and DONTs –
o   Language can be a barrier, always have google translator. Pre-ask the estimate fare at the hotel for any particular place and have name of your destination in Vietnamese on your phone
o   For any meal-inclusive tour, pre-mention your food preference… vegetarian or anything that you don’t want
o   Start the day early as most of the museums and historical sites close up early in the evening.
o   For local transport, use Grab/Uber or reputable taxi companies like Mai Linh and Vinasun or motorcycle taxi Xe Om
o   The visa is on arrival but it is always better to pre-apply. Check all the requisite documents and whether you need single entry or multiple entry visa depending on your itinerary
o   Insanely shop but Bargain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
o   Fixed fare of taxi from Khanh Hoa airport to Nha Trang City center is ~350,000VND and airport minibus is 65,000VND per person.
o   Halong Bay – Opt for a day/ 1N2D/2N3D cruise. Choose wisely from plethora of cruises and service providers. Look out for cruise with seating arrangements on the upper deck to absorb the beauty and take classic photos
o   You may use services of
a.      Kim Travels in HCM City – +84 936362240
